Our neighbor here in Berkeley has been playing bagpipes in the evenings, in his apartment, for nearly 15 years. But since the COVID-19 shutdown started, he’s been coming out on the roof of his apartment building, playing to all the appreciative neighbors watching from their porches at sunset.

We love it when this music starts, usually around 7pm or 7:15. It’s a calming certainty in a scary world. Also, I think he’s gotten a lot better than he was a few years ago.
